1. Who We Are
Nivaro (“we”, “our”, “us”) is a business management platform built for India’s home improvement industry. We provide WhatsApp-based lead management, AI-assisted client communication, quote generation, and project tracking tools to interior designers, home automation companies, and adjacent service businesses.

2. What Data We Collect
From business owners (our customers):
- Name, email address, phone number
- Business name, type, and profile information
- WhatsApp Business number linked to the platform
- Billing and payment information (processed by Razorpay — we do not store card details)
- WhatsApp display name and phone number
- Message content shared in conversations routed through Nivaro
- Project details, budget, and timeline information provided voluntarily
- Usage data and interaction logs (via PostHog analytics)
- Error and performance data (via Sentry)
- IP address, browser type, device type
3. How We Use Your Data
- To operate and deliver the Nivaro platform
- To enable AI-assisted WhatsApp responses to your leads (via Anthropic Claude API)
- To send daily digest messages and follow-up reminders via WhatsApp
- To score and prioritise leads on your behalf
- To process payments through Razorpay
- To improve platform performance and fix bugs
- To send product updates and support communications (you can opt out)
4. WhatsApp & Meta Platform Data
Nivaro integrates with the WhatsApp Business Platform via Meta’s Cloud API. By connecting your WhatsApp Business number to Nivaro, you acknowledge that:
- Message content is transmitted through Meta’s infrastructure in accordance with WhatsApp’s Business Data Processing Terms
- Nivaro accesses messages only to provide the service you have subscribed to
- We do not use WhatsApp message data to train AI models
- End users messaging your business are subject to WhatsApp’s own privacy policy
5. Data Storage & Security
All data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) hosted in the Mumbai, India (ap-south-1) region. We enforce:
- Row-Level Security (RLS) — each business can only access its own data
- Encrypted connections (TLS) for all data in transit
- No cross-tenant data access — your leads are yours alone
- Service role keys are never exposed to the browser
6. Data Retention
- Account data is retained while your subscription is active and for 90 days after cancellation
- Lead and conversation data is retained for 24 months from creation, or until you request deletion
- You may request complete data deletion at any time by emailing hello@nivaro.work
7. Third-Party Services
Nivaro uses the following sub-processors:
- Supabase — database and authentication
- Vercel — hosting and edge delivery
- Anthropic (Claude API) — AI response generation
- Meta (WhatsApp Cloud API) — message routing
- Razorpay — payment processing
- Resend — transactional email
- PostHog — product analytics
- Sentry — error tracking
8. Your Rights (DPDPA 2023)
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request erasure of your data
- Withdraw consent for data processing
- Nominate a representative for data decisions
9. Cookies
We use essential session cookies for authentication. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Analytics (PostHog) may use a first-party cookie to measure product usage — this can be disabled in your browser.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. We will notify active customers via email at least 14 days before any material change takes effect.
